Circus Workshops
Earth Bound Misfits Ltd have been conducting circus skill workshops since 1995 and in that time have become one of Lincolnshires leading mobile circus arts tutition groups. We have developed our workshops to be a unique, fun, circus experience that absolutely anyone can join in with. Workshops can be conducted for children and adults, they can be part of any event including parties, fun days, fetes, festivals and school activities.
Our Circus Workshops come in two forms of delivery.
Drop-In sessions
This is our most popular type of workshop, normally as part of a bigger event, where the public can come and go as they please from the circus workshop area. This requires more members of the Misfit staff to carry out a safe workshop environment.
Structured Sessions
This is a Structured single workshop or series of workshops where the participants are taught the chosen skills step by step.
This means the participants will be in the workshop environment for the whole term of the lesson .
Circus workshop types
Below is the different type/formats our workshops are delivered in for various style and size of events.
Indoor sessions for groups
Indoor sessions for schools, youth groups, etc. You provide a venue big enough for your group, and we bring all the fun of the circus to you. This is our all-year-round style of workshop and should be picked for indoor venues and schools, youth groups, etc., for Group sizes upto 35
Pop-up workshop (Outdoor) Bunting and stakes used to create a colourful workshop area. This requires our company van on-site as the equipment is weather sensitive and we use an Awning.

Pop-up Circus Workshop (Outdoor)
Deluxe Circus workshop (Outdoor)
Using free-standing White picket fences, bunting, and wind art we create the workshop space full of the magic of circus, including balance skills.

Marquees and the Big Top Experience
Workshop in a Marquee, this is an all-weather option, marquee sizes starting at 20 ft by 20ft. Please contact us for options and pricing.

Tutors
Key members of the Earth Bound Misfit workshop team have current first aid certificates and child protection training.
Every member of the Misfits teaching team holds an enhanced disclosure certificate.
Public Liability Insurance/Risk Assessments
The Company has public liability insurance Indemnity Limit of £5,000,000, and all activities are risk assessed, and all copies of the above can be attained upon request.
SPECIFICATIONS
* All workshop space must be able to be controlled, i.e., not allowing anyone except the participants to enter the workshop area. This is very important for both safety and security.
*Specifications Indoor:- Depending on group size depends on how big the indoor space has to be, ceiling height of no less than 10ft.
*Specification Outdoors:- Most events are unique, and space and size would need to be discussed, depending on the size of the event and the number of expected visitors. Minimum space required for Big Top is 30 meters.

Not all the skills listed will be carried out during every workshop, as some require special arrangement i.e., transport. So if there is a particular skill you would like to partake in, please let us know.
